phijkoobxwm: how'd you end up in china and in art?

I got a scholarship to study in China, and art, well, one day some wild hair crawled up my butt and I decided to give a try to this misterious form of animation called anime (nobody watches it over where I come from, except maybe Sailor Moon, so idea of huge eyes and pretty faces is pretty alien..). So I tried Death Note. And I was like, hey, that’s some good shit, wander how to draw like that. That’s how it started. I watched mostly anime in the beginning, and my art was crappiest in the world, then moved to my manga phase, got a little better, then to american comics and game design where I am now :< pretty simple story, although it all started when I was 18 yo xD So I can’t say I’ve been drawing all my life. Idea to make a living out of it came looong after I went to university.

I really wanted to finish something today, tweaked a couple WIPs and started a few new drawings instead OTL; We played real hikikomori with Riho (except she has her excuse, she’s not been feeling well since Monday, every day going to the hospital for her tenteki), literally glued to computers all day (Riho almost killed hers and I had to perform CPR lol) and ordered Korean food to our room. It was delicious!!

Also, I drew a perfect generic face today, scared the shit out of me, deleted it all and started all over again. The hours I spent on it… T.T
